Email Security Lunch Seminar, May 20th
DSS, GLBA, HIPAA, OMB, PCI, PIIG - are just a few of the standards and regulations that place additional constraints on how data is stored, processed, and transmitted. Outbound email and other electronic communications (such as web-based email, blog postings, FTP and other messaging streams) pose a significant risk for data loss or data leakage. Adopting best practices for protecting the sensitive or private information valued by your company, customers, employees and partners adds a new complexity to email security.
In addition, as spammers continually introduce new and more sophisticated distribution techniques, organizations continue to see tremendous increases in spam and other email-borne threats. With the ongoing rise in email volumes and more aggressive spamming techniques, many organizations are struggling with eroding anti-spam effectiveness and no longer see the results they need from their existing email security solutions.
