Discussion Overview: This panel will include a discussion of offshore outsourcing. In particular, we will discuss the best model to leverage resources offshore. We will discuss management processes and benefits of onshore management and offshore development.
Proposed Panel Discussion Questions:
· What is the magic number for cost savings (15%) before making the initial decision to offshore?
· What software applications are ideally suited for offshore?
· What are the typical decision processes that companies go through to determine if they should offshore support, BPO, software development?
· What have been the stumbling blocks for offshore?
· Can you discuss SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and how you would structure them for each of the different options?
· Are there any other offshore best practices that you would like to share? [Open to All]
