Ronald L. Samuels, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, for Avenue Bank. Mr. Samuels is an experienced leader, executive and marketer and has been a banker in Nashville for over 30 years. Mr. Samuels was a founder of Avenue Financial Holdings, Inc and Avenue Bank.

Many Nashvillians know Mr. Samuels as one Nashville’s Pro Sports Pioneers because of his role in recruiting the Houston Oilers (Tennessee Titans) to Nashville. He co-chaired the TENNFL “Just Build It” Committee for Suite and Private Seat License Sales, served as a Task Force member of the NHL Nashville Predators, and was a member of the Titans Stadium Grand Opening Committee. In addition, Mr. Samuels served on the Board of the BellSouth Senior Classic for several years, an event that brings professional golf to Middle Tennessee.
Mr. Samuels attended Vanderbilt Owen School and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where he earned a bachelor’s business administration degree in banking and finance.
