David Stevens Bio

David Stevens, Director of Information Technology, LetterLogic, Inc.


David brought his sixteen years of I.T. experience to LetterLogic in 2008 and is no stranger to the industry. Previously, he held the position of Director of Applications Development at Conclusive Marketing.  He spent many years as a consultant for Compuware as an Applications Architect and is a Microsoft Certified Application Developer, Database Administrator, and IT Professional.  He received his Master of Science in Computer Science from Southern Polytechnic University and his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Oglethorpe University.  He is active in the Nashville Technology Council T3 initiative, serving as chair of the Information Technology Advisory Board at Trevecca Nazarene University.  David is responsible for managing the flow of information at LetterLogic to ensure the security, integrity, and efficiency of data.  He was named the LetterLogic 2010 Team Player of the Year.

Jeff Cobb Bio

Jeff Cobb has spent the last 10 years working with information technology and security in various capacities.  Currently with UnitedHealth Group, Jeff is the Information Security Officer for AIM Healthcare/Ingenix where he oversees the implementation of enterprise policies, controls, and risk management.  Prior to UnitedHealth, Jeff has held security leadership positions with AIM Healthcare and National Renal Alliance.  Jeff is also active in the Nashville security community through his participation on the Middle TN ISSA Board of Directors, Nashville InfoSec Planning Committee, and Mercy Children’s Clinic IT Advisory Committee.  Jeff lives in Franklin with is wife and two daughters.

Mark B. Gilliam

As CIO for Ardent Health Services, a $1.8 billion health care company, Mark Gilliam is leading the single most important initiative in the company’s history – the conversion to electronic medical records.  In four years, Mark has turned Ardent’s I.T. Department from the lowest scoring corporate department in customer service to the 2010 Department of the Year award winner.  In that time, IT has scored a number of very successful conversions, upgrading the delivery of care and the business processes of hospitals, labs, pharmacies and a health plan.

Mark has more than 20 years of health care information technology experience.  Prior to joining Ardent in 2002, he founded and led The Meridian Group, a technology solution provider and consulting company.  In 1999, Mark’s company was recognized as a Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce “Future 50,” one of the fastest growing private companies in the region.  Mark has also led the Southeast Division of the IT Factory, based in Washington, D.C. and worked at Healthcare Management Systems.

Mark is a member of CHIME, HIMSS, the CIO Magazine Executive Council and the McKesson Provider Technologies Strategic Advisory Council.  He is a frequent speaker at conferences, seminars and events across the country, including Outsource World, Lawson CUE and HIMSS.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Murray State University in Murray, Ky.

Linda Goodspeed Bio

Effective March 17, 2008, Linda Goodspeed became Vice President, Information Systems, at Nissan North America.

Ms. Goodspeed began her career in engineering with Ford Motor Company, holding a series of Design, Development and Vehicle Engineering positions from 1984 to 1989.

Ms. Goodspeed is no stranger to Nissan, feeling as if she is “coming home”. From 1989 to 1996 she served in various roles within NTC NA Engineering and Program Control.

From 1996 to 2001, Ms. Goodspeed held executive positions at General Electric, including General Manager of GE Cooking Products. She became GE’s Range Product Development Manager in 1997 and then promoted to Product General Manager in 1999, where she also became General Manager for Six Sigma, managing a team of 160 GE quality leaders spanning operations across the company.

From 2001 to 2008, she held various executive vice president roles at Lennox International, including IT, Business Development, Global Sourcing and global supply chain and engineering councils.

Ms. Goodspeed also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Columbus McKinnon Corporation and American Electric Power Company, Inc.
