Wired UK Shocks Some Readers with Personalized Covers
For its latest issue, technology magazine Wired UK launched “ultra-personalized” covers for select users. The magazine printed on the covers personal data like telephone numbers, email addresses and even making references to photos the recipient was in. The magazine claimed the reason for this was to emphasize the cover story on “what the end of privacy means for you”.
It managed to get hold of the sensitive information through social networks, the Land Registry and the edited electoral register. Read more about here.
