February 28, 2012: Emerging Growth Roundtable: Developing An Exit Strategy: Join the NTC and
industry experts on February 28th at 5:00 p.m. for a Developing an Exit Strategy Round Table hosted
by Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP. Topics to be discussed include: planning the exit strategy at
formation; the pros and cons of the common types of exit strategies (lifestyle companies, liquidation,
acquisitions, and IPOs); and the acquisition and liquidation processes. REGISTER NOW



March 8 2012: Health Care and Privacy Security Summit: The purpose of this half day event
is to develop a whitepaper that will address how the health care community can ensure that data is
private and secure even when it is not under their control. It will be followed by a series of round

March 22, 2012: TechNet: Using a speed-matching format, TechNet provides job seekers,
employers, and higher education institutions the opportunity to network together to
match potential employees with tech related jobs or advanced degree programs

April 17, 2012: Golfing with the Board: An exclusive outing designed for members only. It’s a great
opportunity for our members to golf and network with our Board of Directors.


April 2012: Roundtable Event Roundtables are two hour events on various topics with
presentations, discussion and feedback. These roundtables offer unique opportunities for learning
and professional exchange, as well as networking.


May 11-14, 2012: HACK-A-THON: A multi-day event where programmers meet to do collaborative computer
programming and coding for awards and recognition. The code-a-thon will be held the weekend before
Technology Nashville. More details to come!


May 15, 2012: Techville: Our annual flagship event, highlighting the State of Technology in
our region, and showcasing emerging technologies. This event has something for every level of the tech
workforce and addresses a variety of industries.


July 2012: Summer Holiday Party: At the Tech Council, we think just one holiday party is not enough. 
Celebrate with us again, at this annual networking event.


August 2012: Healthcare Super Roundtable: Super Roundtable focused on eHealth Initiatives.


August 2012: FirstCamp This is a half-day “unconference” designed to engage high school
students into technology by allowing them to present and discuss their ideas. Presented as a part of
NTC’s ongoing T3 Initiative.


September 2012: InfoSec Conference: Nashville Technology Council and Middle Tennessee
chapter of Information Systems Security Association host over 400 attendees and two-dozen locally
and nationally recognized speakers.  InfoSec offers two industry-recognized keynote speakers, panel
discussions and multiple breakout sessions focusing on technical and management issues, as well as
healthcare and other industry regulations in the security industry.


October, 2012: Fall Outing: This year the NTC will host a Fall event for members to treat their
peers, prospects, customers and potential business partners to a day of networking and fun.  Stay
tuned for details.


October 23, 2012: “Feel the Beat” Technology Awards Gala: The annual awards gala honors
Middle Tennessee’s technology companies, leaders and innovators.  We anticipate attracting more
than 400 attendees each year for this night of networking, food, and entertainment. The Technology
Awards Gala will feature a “red carpet” entrance, VIP reception, dinner, after party and the presentation
of 12 prestigious awards.


November 2012: Emerging Growth Roundtable: The Emerging Growth Roundtable is specifically
designed to address key issues faced by early stage comapnies and their CEO’s.


December 2012: Winter Holiday Party: Celebrate the Holidays at this annual networking event.
Don’t miss the opportunity to mingle with over 200 members of Nashville’s Technology Community in
a relaxed setting. This event features a variety of appetizers and a free drink ticket.
