Nashville User Groups

Nashville .Net User Group

The Nashville .NET User Group stives to provide a forum for .NET developers to to communicate, learn, share, inform and network. Meetings not only offer education on new technologies and techniques, but are the only opportunity that many of our members have to network with other professionals in their industry outside of their employer. They are an opportunity for out of work developers to find out about job openings and entrepreneurs to discuss new ventures. We strive to provide continuity and solid connections in an ever changing industry.

The next .Net User Group meeting is April, 9th at 6:00. The meeting will be located at Vaco, LLC in Brentwood.

Nashville Web Developer Group

The Nashville Web Developer’s Group is an affiliate of the .Net User’s Group and information can be found at their website.

The next Web Dev Group meeting is March, 18th at 6:00. The meeting will be located at Vaco, LLC in Brentwood.

The Nashville SharePoint User Group

The Nashville SharePoint Users Group (SUG) was founded in mid-2008 to ensure that you have a place to come and engage with other people who are interested in learning the capabilities that SharePoint can bring to their business. We also want to provide a forum for you to share your knowledge and experiences with other members of the group.

Our meeting topics will range from deep development, operations, infrastructure, general administration, info for business users, and product showcases.

The next SUG meeting will be March 23rd, at 5:30pm. The meeting will be held at Microsoft in Franklin.

Nashville Linux User Group

NLUG meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm on the Vanderbilt University Campus. More details can be found on their site.

Nashville Game Developer Group

The Nashville Game Developer Group is focused on independent game development on multiple platforms. They also function as a place to network with people in the greater Nashville area to create video games.

Nashville Association of Software Quality Professionals (NASQP)

The Nashville Association of Software Quality Professionals (NASQP) was established in November 2008.

Our mission statement is : To provide an environment “where IT-QA professionals come to network, to learn, and to exchange ideas”.

NASQP will provide a location and an environment conducive to information exchange, training, and camaraderie among all those who are interested and/or employed in the software test process in Nashville and surrounding areas.

The following are the objectives of NASQP:

1.      Promote the IT quality professions within Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding areas

2.      Facilitate communication among the members locally in the profession

3.      Share information and concepts about IT quality practices

4.      Improve competency and recognition of the IT quality professional

Nashville BizTalk Community

The BizTalk Community is the next step in the evolution of the traditional User Group.  It is a fusion of in-person BizTalk User Group and modern social media—allowing broader collaboration, separated by space and time.  But throughout the process, we still want it to be a Community, somewhere where you belong.

We meet the first Wednesday of every month at 6:00 pm Central Time.
